COVID-19 outbreak changed the perspective on how the world viewed ambulance workers, hospital support teams, and nurses. Medical professionals treated COVID patients while also having a risk of getting infected. Doctors and Medical staff worked for long hours wearing protective equipment and stayed away from families to reduce the COVID spreading risk. This shows that Medical professionals are the real heroes and protect public health during medical emergencies in the country.
Why Are Medical Professionals Called Frontline Workers?

Medical professionals like doctors, staff, and nurses help in effective identification of disease, monitoring, and treating patients. During COVID-19, medical professionals worked in testing centers and emergency rooms, risking their health. They took care of patients, monitored breathing problems, and offered the best medical care to COVID-19 patients.
During the Ebola outbreak, medical professionals identified alarming symptoms among suspects and isolated them separately. Quick action saved lives and helped decrease transmission. Doctors make decisions under pressure; delays can lead to infection spreading easily.

Another reason why doctors and nurses are called frontline workers is their risk of infection. They directly come in contact with patients and might treat infected people in a day; that means they are at higher risk of infection.

Doctors and medical professionals stand closer to danger as there are high chances of disease spread. From Ebola to COVID-19, they ensure to manage emergencies, protect public health, and quickly take action and do more than cure infections. They reduce fear and keep healthcare systems running smoothly during tough emergency health situations in the country.
