The Dental College in Ranchi has been granted permanent affiliation for 63 BDS seats, and the BDS college no longer has to go through a separate annual affiliation renewal process. This offers more convenience to RIMS Dental College in paperwork and admissions processes, as well as in the overall costs associated with the academic process. There are currently 27 MDS and 63 BDS seats at RIMS College, and MDS seats are available in nine different departments, including Public Health Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery, Radiology, Orthodontics, and Pedodontics.
