India and Japan Science and Technology ministers had a meeting in New Delhi on 12th September to discuss collaboration in the field of health and medical devices. Dr Jitendra Singh said that Japan and India can work together for better societal outcomes in health and innovation. The Japanese minister appreciated India's contribution to innovation and expressed confidence that this meeting will benefit both countries and promote application and deployment.
India is expanding national missions in Clean energy, cyber-physical systems, and quantum technology. Japan and India exchanged the Memorandum of Cooperation in the medical devices and health field and an Intent Letter in Quantum Science. This meeting will deepen India-Japan ties in Science, Innovation, research, and Technology.
